Is there any way to have the booking from face to face show up on your Outlook calendar?
If a user selects the option of an iCal appoitnment from the 'Notification Type' when they sign-up, this will send the user an Outlook calendar invite which they can then accept.
We have Moodle 1.9 and this is not working that way. I have never received an Outlook invite when I have this marked as iCal. It would be nice to get this feature working. Any ideas?
As we are on Moodle 2.2, I can't confirm whether or not this is a bug with the plug-in. In my last organisation we were on Moodle 1.9 and the iCal did work, but this was a while back. Are the email notifications being sent out? If they aren't either perhaps you have an issue with you cron.
We are using Moodle 2.2 and Face-to-face and I can confirm that the iCal features work fine with our Exchange and Outlook setup. We did add one line of code to lib.php to make the events public instead of private though.
