I would like to ask if someone knows if it is possible to create 2 columns when editing the html of a content page within a lesson. For example, to be able to display a picture to the left and text to the right.

Hi - easiest way is to add in a table with two columns and one row. You can also then adjust the ratio, eg 30% first column, 70% second column or fix the pixel width of a certain column. If you alter these attributes, after you've created your first table you can just cut and paste the HTML code onto subsequent lesson pages.
