We are using Moodle 1.9.7+.
I am trying to create a custom Course creator role. I want that role to be able to assign roles inside the course and to be able to assign role of two newly created roles Teacher and Non-editing teacher duplicates and Students offcourse.
I have set "Assign roles to users" as Allow and also in "Allow role assignments" section I have properly checked the checkboxes.
When I am loged in with the new role Course creator I am creating the course but when the process come to the page for assigning roles it gives me notification that I do not have permissions to assign roles.
I tried with setting "Create and manage roles" as Allow too. It gives me possiblity to create a new roles bot not to assign them.
Can you please point me to the right direction. It is obious that I am missign something.
