First time poster here. I've currently begun implementing a new project using Moodle 1.9 (for stability reasons and PHP compatibility reasons).
I'm trying to code a custom grading report that would be emailed to users upon completion of a quiz. The grading report would have overall score, scores by subject, overall percentile ranking, overall percentile ranking by subject as outputs.
Because Moodle lacks a notion of questions being grouped into subject categories ( I think? Correct me if I'm wrong) I will probably end up hardcoding that information inside the custom report module.
Are there any examples and documentation available to assist me in this process? I've been looking and have been mostly unable to find any. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated as I am a total Moodle newbie.
