Thanks for your suggestions but I don't personally have access to the database in the course in question. Josph Réseau showed me how to chop up the course into bits and reassemble it locally. But it's not practical to do that weekly. All I can do is export the gradebook as an Excell file. Now I'm using the ForumNG, I can also export those as Word files.
