regex in short answer question in lesson module

I'd like to use regular expressions in the lesson module. I checked the documentation and it says that is an optional plugin. but I can't find it. Im using moodle 1.9.4. Where can I find this plugin? I would also need some feedback about how to install it.

Hi Luis,

You got it wrong. The "regular expressions" question type is a question plugin for the Quiz activity. But that feature is included in the regular Lesson activity, as an option of the Shortanswer question.

Thank your very much for your response. In fact, the documentation is where I read that is an "optional plugin". Anyway, I'm using Moodle in Spanish, and the checkbox has the label "mayúsculas y minúsculas" (upper case and lower case) instead of "use regular expressions", that's what made me got it wrong. I checked the checkbox and wrote a valid regular expression in the answer box, it worked fine.
