When I open imported text in editor all (non-breaking spaces) disappear from source code and become a regular blanc characters. So if I save it all are lost. I know that import works properly and the code, stored in database before editing, does contain non-breaking spaces. How to keep them from being replaced?
(I use Moodle 1.9.7+)
Thanks.
same problem in 1.9.9 (20100915)
After save, the are gone.

This problem has been solved in Moodle 2.0. As of today, in these forums on Moodle.org, which has switched to 2.0 RC, you can easily insert blank spaces from the appropriate tool on the toolbar.
