It appears that if you add a formula to a Category (under Categories and Items) where you have your assignments housed, that whatever aggregation you have chosen will be overidden by the formula.
Has anyone found this to be true. I really just need to verify that is what indeed happens because I will be guiding people on how to use the gradebook even though I'm a bit of a novice myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
