Hi there

I was wondering whether anyone could advise me how to make a post a "sticky" (stick to the top of the forum) in my Moodle? I want to post some forum rules and this seems like the easiest way to do it!

Thanks,

Richard

Hi Richard - you can't make a sticky post in Moodle forums but what I do is make the post anyway, and then link to the posts I want to be 'sticky' in the Forum description. That way, they are always at the top of the forum.

We have 'sticky' posts for forum rules, where to get help, how to contribute to your blog, etc.

This feature is available in the third-party ForumNG that the OU has produced. You can install in into Moodle 1.9 from the Modules and plugins database. However, it is still in development, so use with caution for the next few months.
