Dear all:
Just curious, as I haven't noticed this feature in Moodle discussion forum yet. Let's say, if I found a discussion thread (topic) that was posted in the Using Moodle > Databases area, but that discussion thread is more related to, say, "General Developer" forum." Is there a role permission that would allow certain people to do that?? If not, is there a Moodle Bug Tracker ticket created already or was there any discussion about this before?? Thanks!

Just look on the define roles screen: mod/forum:movediscussions - I think non-editing teacher and teacher have it by default.
