Confirmation messages not getting through

A new semester is beginning at B-study.com/moodle and I've had some new people trying to enroll in one of my courses. Some have already reported to me that after they have set up an account they receive a message saying that a confirmation could not be sent to their email address. This is the first time this has happened. Can anyone help me with this?

In your Server/Email parameters, try using the IP address of the SMTP server instead of the DNS name.

It worked for me.
