forgotten password

Hi, yesterday I have latest moodle-weekly-19.tgz on Linux server.
I created admin account with password, that is:
  • at least 8 characters long.
  • have at least 1 digit(s).
  • have at least 1 upper case letter(s).
  • have at least 1 non-alphanumeric character(s).
But, I forgot admin password. Is there any possibility how to replace admin password or save created content?
I'm administrator, have access to mysql database, files, and everything.

Send password by e-mail didn't work, I don't know why.

Was trying to install another copy of moodle, create admin password and copy paste HASH value in mdl_users >> password field, but didn't works. Have change it back.

Any ideas how to save created content / reset password?

Thank You really.

PS,

Absolutely. See

last paragraph of http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=82883#p366705
also http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=18103

BTW:
  1. Copying the hash value from another copy of Moodle should have worked.
  2. Maybe the e-mail password feature didn't work because you don't have the e-mail (SMTP) parameters set up correctly. You didn't say exactly how it failed. Are you able to get Moodle to e-mail anything? Or did it e-mail a password but the password didn't work?
