For some reason, my site is not sending out the "welcome" email when a student enrolls in a course. All other emails are going out: registration, password change, forums, but no course welcome. I thought maybe it was because of using the new PayPal enrollment, but I switched to internal enrollment and still no welcome email when a student enrolls in a course.
So, I enrolled in a new course here at Moodle, and no welcome to course email--is this feature defunct?
