I am sure this has come up before, but I can't find it
When we develop a master course, we often put links at the bottom of one activity to allow the student to go directly to the next activity, without having to go back to the main page of the course.
However when we back up the course, and restore it to a new course, those links, instead of pointing to the activity in the restored course, point back to the activity in the master course. In other words, they don't resolve in the restore process.
We have course menu block, which allows for menu items on the left in a block. (1.9.5), but as we all know, blocks are not acknowledged by all activities and resources.
So is there a way to add a link to a web page that links to another activity in the course, so that when we back up and restore, the link will resolve properly.
Thanks,
Mark Weiss
Hi,
I have a similar issue. When I duplicate a course, how do i ensure that the links are not broken in the duplicated course?
Thank you.
