web page link

I tried to add a web link to a topic. When I click the "Search for Web Page" button, I get a "Done, but with errors on page" note in the lower left corner and nothing happens. I tried this on my laptop at home and at the school with the same results using IE and Firefox. Any have any ideas as to what might be causing this? Is it a Moodle bug? We are running 1.9.5 but I asked our Moodle IT administrator and he says that this is an issue that he has encountered in several versions. He thought it was related to the pop-up blocker but that does not seem to be the case.

I have not gotten any response to this question. Can someone help me? This is preventing me from adding video clip links to my site.
Thank you

Hi Dale, I'm sorry I am not sure why you are getting a blank page when you hit the search for a webpage button but it shouldn't actually prevent you from adding links to sites with videos on them (which is what I presume you want to do?) Just open a new tab, copy the url of the website you want to link to and then paste it into the location box on that screen, instead of trying to find the link by hitting search for a webpage.
Or have I misunderstood what you mean to do?
