Short answer question in Quizzes

I would like to create a short answer question in Quizzes, and can't see how to do it in Moodle. For a Latin class, this would be for conjugating verbs. So, the question would be:

Conjugate "amo" in the present indicative active.

The Quiz would show six blanks, into which the student would type:

amo
amas
amat
amamus
amatis
amant

I would set this up so that the correct answers are available, and each blank would be assigned a point. I already do this in Blackboard Vista 4, but I don't see how to do this in Moodle.

I would appreciate any suggestions. Many thanks.

Randall,

The question type you need is the Cloze/Multianswer type.

"I would set this up so that the correct answers are available" I suppose you mean the "solutions" would be available, after the student has typed their responses ?

"The Quiz would show six blanks, into which the student would type:" I suppose you mean "The Question would show six blanks, into which the student would type:"
