Hi,
I have set the cron.php to run at every 30 min.
I created a forum which force everyone to subscribe.
the problem is, whenever someone post in the forum, users and I don't get emails of the post.
Any suggestion to solve this problem?

hi,
I gave wrong path of cron.php. It is stored in moodle/admin/. I installed moodle in root directory of my server. when I remove "moodle" and give only /admin/cron.php the problem is solved.

Hello Anthony,
we run a moodle 1.9.10
All the forums including the front page forum dont send emails when subscription is forced on all users but they do send the email when the settings is "Allow everyone to choose"...All other email functionality site wide works.Do you have any idea why this is so?.Thanks

No, I don't but the front page stuff can sometimes have different behavior because of permissions. I would start by upgrading to the latest version of Moodle 1.9 - which is 1.9.12+ and see if that helps. If you think it is a bug, then go ahead and report it in the tracker. The more details you can provide about your setup the better to help us reproduce it and better figure out what is happening. Others may have some ideas based on experience with the front page.
