The Feedback module moves with 2.0 from contrib to core. Actually we have lang files in both places. During German translations in 2.0 we have added the feedback files to the language package.

Any suggestions from other translators how to handle this?

Hi Ralf,

we still do not use repository branches for the language packs, although there were plans to start with it from Moodle 2.0. Therefore all German sites use the same officially distributed (aka "master") pack of core string files. Strings defined at the core level (moodledata/lang/de_utf8) take precedence over those defined at the module level (mod/feedback/lang/de_utf8).
So, if you already have feedback.php in your master language pack, it should be suitable even for 1.6 - 1.9 sites. So we can move our translations from the module level to the core level.
