Hi Ray,
By default, if students haven't attempted a quiz, it's shown as a dash (-).
Which version of Moodle are you using?

I'm using 1.8. I don't get a default (-). Any person enrolled in he course shows up in the gradebook with an (F) and (0%). I would like to figure out how to limit the gradebook to only show a grade if a person has made an attempt.
