Password Protection

I have recently installed moodle and love it!!! Unfortunately everytime I access the site (www.nwmustangs.org/moodle) it immediately asks me for a password.  At this time I have to enter my administrator network password to gain access to the site.  How do I eliminate this? I want students to be able to get to the moodle site without initially logging in.  After review several other schools sites, I realized that only one other moodle site is like this.

Thanks in advance for the assistance.

On the Administration » Configuration » Variables page, check the forcelogin setting (near the bottom of the page) - if it's set to "Yes", then that's the culprit.

Just had a look, it seems you have some sort of authentication turned on in IIS.mixed

Check the Website properties / Directory Security and make sure in the "Authentication and Access" dialog that Allow anonymous is ticked.wink

If you intended the security (NTLM) you'll probably need to give the users access to the folder and possibly the "Right to log on locally"
