What is Yammer? From wikipedia:
Yammer is used for private communication within organizations and is an example of enterprise social software. The tool was originally developed as an internal communication system for the genealogy website Geni. Access to a Yammer network is determined by a user's Internet domain so that only individuals with appropriate email addresses may join their respective networks.

This block uses the embed API to provide a sleek interface and easy setup of the embedded feed within a Moodle course.

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for submitting the plugin - it works quite nicely! - couple of minor issues related to phpdocs that would be really good to fix up as mentioned in the link above but I also noticed an issue with the css which I've reported in github. Ideally it would be good if you could fix all those but most importantly the css issue will probably need to be addressed before this can be approved.

    Thanks!

Hi Chris. Thanks for fixing the issues. Please note, we do not automatically pull from git repositories. You have to publish a new version of the plugin here manually - see Add a new version button.

    Hi Chris,

Many thanks for this. I was wondering is there a way to display the block site wide? I don't seem to have the option. We've integrated our authentication with o365 so it would be excellent if all users could see the block when they login.

    Thanks again,
    Darren

Hi Darren, currently the block is written to only work on course-view pages, as that fit the original requirements.
Although there is no good reason to not allow the block anywhere in Moodle - I'll add it to the bug tracker. I am planning to do a test for Moodle 3.0 this week, so will hopefully get that done soon. https://github.com/PeloNZ/moodle-block_yammer/issues/7
    Thanks for your feedback.

Hi Erika. I haven't tested it yet but it should work ok. You can give it a try and report any issues here.

    Hi all,

tested the block in 3.5.3+ ... it works fine. In addition, embed a yammer feed into a html block would be an option.

    Best, Thorsten

Tried testing the block in 3.5.5 but only got white space when added to a dashboard and configured to our network. Have followed Thorsten's advice as a workaround.

Just a follow-up, it DOES work during the Course context but doesn't work on the Dashboard.
