Hi, I've recently installed to the latest version of the plugin (on Moodle 2.6, PHP 5.5) and it's knocked out my delete button from within the summary tab. I think it's connected to the error here:

Missing argument 2 for turnitintool_activitylog(), called in moodle\www\mod\turnitintool\lib.php on line 5796 and defined in moodle\www\mod\turnitintool\lib.php on line 7192

Hi Everyone, is there a clean way to revert back to the February plugin? I've tried replacing the folder (and changing the version number which installed) but no success in returning the missing delete button. I've also lost functionality with this latest version. I can no longer upload images without an error. Thanks, Andrew

Hi there, we've had some strange behaviour since updating to moodle 2.7. When anyone creates a turnitin assignment, every user with a student role shows in the assignment, not just the students enrolled in the course. Any ideas what might be causing this?

I open an issue https://github.com/ip-pauldawson/MoodleDirect/issues/15 on your repo, because a user found a problem with the way you include jQuery in settings.php

Hi Everyone, I've just updated to the latest plugin. When adjusting the time and date of the assignment, I get a blank page and the following error: Turnitin PHP Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in path\to\moodle\calendar\lib.php on line 2191. Everything has been working perfectly fine before the update.

Hi Andrew, we're aware of this and have rectified the issue. We will be releasing the updated plugin this week.

Just to note, the github repository has moved to https://github.com/turnitin/moodle-mod_turnitintool for this plugin.

When exporting the submissions as zip file. How can I make the submitted file names to include the student ID?

  • Sat, Nov 7, 2015, 12:08 AM
    Hi Chris,

The file names submitted to Turnitin from Moodle currently don't include the student's id but they do include the student's name. This would have to be a feature request via uservoice - details here: http://turnitin.com/en_us/resources/blog/424-product/2040-roadmap-and-release-notes. In our v2 plugin we include their Moodle user id but not their Turnitin id.

Hi I'm using moodle 3.0 does it support it or when you will update it to 3.0?
  • Mon, Jan 4, 2016, 5:19 PM
Hi, Abdrouf, I'm sorry but we have no current plans to support Moodle 3.0 with this plugin. We do support Moodle 3.0 with v2 of this plugin though: https://moodle.org/plugins/mod_turnitintooltwo

Can you please update the plugin in this page? In the official TII documentation says that it's compatible to Moodle 3.0 https://guides.turnitin.com/03_Integrations/Turnitin_Partner_Integrations/Moodle/Moodle_Direct_V1/Release_Notes_-_Moodle_Direct_v1
