Certifications is a comprehensive suite of plugins designed to simplify the certification process for organisations. It offers an efficient and intuitive solution to address compliance training needs, ensuring your workforce stays up to date with essential industry standards and regulations.

With Certifications, administrators are empowered to design, implement, and manage robust certification programs effortlessly. These programs can be tailored to specific organizational needs, incorporating detailed learning criteria that employees or learners must meet. Upon fulfilling these criteria, individuals are awarded digital certificates as tangible proof of their accomplishments.

The system's flexibility is one of its standout features. Administrators can configure certification programs to allow learners to complete courses either sequentially or in any preferred order, accommodating diverse learning styles and preferences. Furthermore, validity periods can be established for certifications, adding an extra layer of accountability. By setting expiration dates, organizations ensure that key skills are reassessed and verified regularly, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

This functionality plays a pivotal role in compliance training by simplifying processes and reducing administrative burdens. It facilitates adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements, keeping businesses aligned with their legal obligations. As a result, corporate training becomes more efficient, impactful, and scalable, empowering organizations to maintain high levels of competency and credibility.

In essence, Certifications plugins not only enhance the certification process but also strengthens workforce compliance, enabling organizations to navigate complex regulatory landscapes with confidence and ease.

To upload allocations do I format the upload sheet like the report generation? (ex. Full name, Email address, Valid from, Expiration, Certification Status, Source, Archive)

No, upload and download have different format. In the future I am planning to add support for custom reports and some reportbuilder patches to allow creation of exports in format expected for certification assignments and history uploads.

For now see test fixtures in: https://github.com/mutms/moodle-tool_mucertify/tree/MOODLE_405_STABLE/tests/fixtures

In general the upload forms should tell you if there is anything wrong with the files.

For the "History Upload" options, is there a way to input "Certification Due". I see the option for manual input, but not history upload.

Correct, certification due date is not supported in historic data upload. You can file a new feature request at https://github.com/mutms/moodle-tool_mucertify

Hello, I noticed that my dates are displaying dd/mm/yy is there a way to change it to mm/dd/yy?

Hi, all MuTMS plugins are using either default long date or get_string('strftimedatetimeshort', 'langconfig') format.

I am wondering if you forgot to switch to EN_US lang pack, because the standard Moodle EN lang pack is for Australian English.

Any way, you can alter your language packs via standard language customisation feature if you do not like any standard date formats.

is there a way to upload assignments that overwrite previous dates?

Apart from "temporary certification date", there are no dates stored in the certification assignment entity. The dates are what define the certification periods.

To help me understand what you are trying to achieve, please describe the current state and dates of the certification periods, and then the desired new state and dates of the certification periods.

    Dependencies Query:

    ** Using Moodle 4.5 LTR on PHP 8.1 **

While installing Certifications (https://moodle.org/plugins/tool_mucertify), we chose the 4.5 version.
We are aware that this requires other plugins which are part of MuTMS suite.

    Our query is:

While installing tool_mucertify 4.5 - we are blocked by requests to update "available missing dependencies" - but the versions listed are 5.0/5.1
Please clarify if and how we can use tool_mucertify while remaining on Moodle 4.5 LTS

    re: Dependencies Query

this is caused by a known bug in Moodle plugins database - see https://moodle.atlassian.net/browse/MDL-87520

Super Petr - thanks so much for your excellent support.
So it is a bug in Moodle and we will have to wait until Moodle apply one/more of your suggested fixes here: https://moodle.atlassian.net/browse/MDL-87520

If we cannot wait (Moodle may take days to fix), then we may upgrade to Moodle 5.2 and proceed from there -Thank you Petr!

There is no need to rush the upgrades, all you need to do is to install required plugins in the order given above in plugin description - the programs plugin has to be the last one, the tool_mulib is the first one.
