The admin tool “Global Notification” serves as a useful tool for the administrators of the moodle platform. With this tool, they have the ability to communicate messages – for example, regarding maintenance work or planned updates – globally or specifically to certain groups of people. There is the option to create multiple templates and define tags. Furthermore, it can be specified on which pages and/or for which roles the message is visible. Additionally, further restrictions can be applied through the use of profile fields.
