Skim Import Plugin

The Skim Import plugin converts notes exported from the Skim PDF annotation tool into a format that displays nicely in Moodle.

INSTALLATION
To install it, unzip and place the skim folder in
[moodle]/lib/editor/tinymce/plugins
then go to your site administration/notifications page to run the install.

You will be shown a number of format(colors, font weight etc) related settings. You can probably just use the defaults initially.
They format settings can be edited at any time via
site administration/plugins/text editor/tinymce/Skim import menu

USAGE
i) Export a set of notes from the Skim PDF tool, into RTF format.
ii) Open the new RTF file, select the contents and "copy" to your clipboard.
iii) From the Moodle TinyMCE editor, click the Skim import icon (a pair of glasses) and "paste" the notes into the text area on the dialog.
iv) Then press the insert button and the notes will be formatted nicely and inserted into the html area.

Enjoy
