Moodle tiny QR code is a tiny sub-plugin to create and integrate QRCode to Moodle tiny editor easily. This library helps you generate QR codes quickly. It uses bacon/QR to generate the matrix and khanamiryan/qrcode-detector-decoder to validate generated QR codes.

Moodle Tiny-qrcode 

Moodle tiny qr-code is an tiny sub-plugin to easily create and integrate QRCode to Moodle tiny editor. This library helps you generate QR codes in a jiffy. Makes use of bacon/bacon-qr-code to generate the matrix and khanamiryan/qrcode-detector-decoder for validating generated QR codes.

Configuration! You can install this plugin from Moodle plugins directory or can download from Github. 

Usages 

 After installing the plugin, you can use the plugin by following: 

  • Go to any plugin settings, you'll find Tiny HTML editor (moodle 4.5). Choose tiny from your preferences editor options if atto editor is selected (from moodle 4.1 to 4.4)   

  • Click on QR-code icon from Toolbar 

  • Insert QR-Code content 

  • Insert width, margin, background and foreground color (Optional) of qrcode 

  • Done!

    This is a nice plugin, but the latest version (2024110301) broke a site on which the previous version (2024110300) worked. The breaking was that
    - Moodle menu text suddenly either did not render or had the font color changed to the same as the background color; the menus could still be clicked on, however.
    - Some direct links (those involving an address with #) did not function
    The problems obtained with Boost, Boost Union, and LearnR themes.
    When I deleted the plugin, the menus functioned as usual.
    Environment: Moodle 4.1.2+ (version before 20250221 build); PHP 8.1.31
