Overview

Haccgen extender brings the same AI ecosystem as Dynamic Pixel's HACC Gen – AI Content Generator (local_haccgen) directly into the Tiny editor (Moodle's modern editor). Teachers and authors can run AI actions on selected text or prompts without leaving the activity: structured summaries, translation, richer descriptions, text-to-speech audio, AI-generated images (including infographic-style), avatar/video options where configured, image description, and text recognition—subject to your site's endpoint and subscription limits.

To get API Credentials, you need to sign up here - https://haccgen.com/

The plugin uses the same API credentials as HACC Gen. Site administrators configure the AI endpoint URL and subscription API key/secret; optional settings control timeouts, allowed features, and transparency usage display for the site.

Where it appears

Editors see the Haccgen tools from the Tiny toolbar while editing content in activities that use the Tiny editor.
