Campus theme allows you to customize the look and feel of your moodle site as much as possible. It provides an elegant way for designing the header. It is fully responsive and optimised for MNET authentication and provides all common features of modern moodle themes such as slideshow, custom category design, social icons,...
Latest release:
330 sites
150 downloads
85 fans
Current versions available: 10

This theme is the designers choice. You can make the theme look great, or just really awful. The theme is designed to have the possibility to reflect the corporate identity as much as possible with providing theme settings to adjust your header to your design needs. Some of the features are:

  • Responsive header divided into background/logo.
  • Font types.
  • MNET authentication.
  • Full-Screen mode for max working comfort.
  • Sub-themes for course categories.
  • Frontpage-Slideshow, category slideshow.
  • Social Icons.

Please note: As of Moodle 3.6, Campus development has stopped due to the removal of 'Bootstrapbase' in Moodle 3.7.  It might be possible to update the theme to be a child theme of Boost or a standalone Bootstrap 4 theme, but that would take a reasonable amount of time and effort.  Thank you to everyone who has enjoyed and used the theme in the past.

I see that the version info indicates that this is now compatible with Moodle v3.6 (and thanks for that). Which git branch should I be using for that? Master?

@Paul: master is the one to checkout.

Thanks David. Any reason to/to not use the tag? Or is just pulling master by itself sufficient?

I really like the Campus theme. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It has a clean look and awesome font.

(Not sure why the activity-edit or page-edit links don't work, so I posted a question to the Theme Forum. It could be an issue with my moodle environment.)

I've replied there Sean, there is no version of the theme that supports M3.7.

Running the latest master on v3.6 and I noticed an issue - when clicking on the "messaging" icon, when the messaging window pops up, there is no way to close it again. We've switched back to some of the base themes and it works there. Any advice?

Interesting. Ok, the fix will be to have a close icon at the top. I'll need to think about this.

Good theme, I like it very much. I have upgraded to Moodle 3.7 but it doesn't work correctly, any upgrade soon to 3.7?

    Thanks!!
