Is there something wrong? It is said it was updated/released 15 hours ago, but the filename and file's version is same as the 6th Feb 2025.
Kindly please confirm.
Thanks and Best Wishes
The other contexts seem to behave OK - Timeline, Upcoming events block and Recently accessed items all display all the colours.
I suspect one reason could be that the Activities block uses those smaller-sized icons?
I'm reporting this here, though I know the Activities block will be gone in Moodle 5. Still. the 4.5 version of Moodle is an LTS, so I think a solution should be provided.
I could add a bug tracker item for this, but thought to first indicate the issue here.
Thanks and best regards,
Przemek
Please see https://github.com/moodle-an-hochschulen/moodle-theme_boost_union/blob/main/CHANGES.md#v45-r7.
As soon as you update your Moodle core to 4.5.2, you are ready to go for the latest Boost Union release.
May I ask you to report this issue on https://github.com/moodle-an-hochschulen/moodle-theme_boost_union/issues ?
This comment section here is not the place to report bugs as indicated in the big banner at the top of this page.
Thank you.

I’m using the Boost Union theme on Moodle, and I would like to make certain blocks visible on the homepage for both logged-in users and guests.
I have already checked the block settings and role permissions, but the blocks still don’t appear for non-logged-in users. Is there a specific setting to enable in Boost Union or any other configuration I should check?
Thanks in advance for your help!
I think there is a bug in the last versions probably in the file versions.php.
There, with
$plugin->requires = 2024100702;
at least a Moodle 4.5.2 is required.
However, if you make a query via the Moodle API, you will get this version (r9, r10) for all earlier versions of Moodle 4.5.
This means that the plugin cannot be installed if it is downloaded after an API query.
We provide Moodle as a base image in Kubernetes clusters and then download the plugins from a list via the API. However, this currently fails with theme_boost_union for instances that still have Moodle 4.5.1.
I have tested it with a very fresh Moodle 4.5.1. The pod will not be finished. If I choose Moodle 4.5.2, everything works perfectly.
Presumably the entry in versions.php simply has to be changed to
$plugin->requires = 2024100700;
Best regards
Folkert
I am sorry that your deployment chain is broken currently. But this required version was set to 2024100702 intentionally.
I would like to point you to https://github.com/moodle-an-hochschulen/moodle-theme_boost_union/issues/822 for details. Please comment there if you want to discuss this further, but please let's avoid discussing it here in the comments section.
Cheers,
Alex
Thank you so much for developing Boost Union. It's great and has transformed our Moodle. I have a request. We could love to use right hand block drawer on visit to force open block after login. However don't use the site home page. Would it be possible to apply to the /my and dashboard page too?
Thanks for considering :D
