Important!

Sadly, I don't have time to work actively on the project, I can answer questions, but I am not going to develop any major change. If you want to contribute as developer I can help you to get started with the project. Just ping me.

Thanks a lot to Barbara Ramiro and David for their suggestions, I will try to improve everything you said.

Moodle 3.2

I have received several emails asking why Archaius doesn't work on Moodle 3.2. The quick answer is: it does. you just have to install the base theme (https://moodle.org/plugins/theme_base), I think I am going to remove that dependency to avoid problems in the future.

Best regards,

Daniel

    Hi Tulix.

If you mean the horizontal navigation menu, It is something standard in Moodle Themes. Just follow this short tutorial and does it.

    Best regards,
    Daniel.

Love the theme. Just curious if you'll be updating it for Moodle 2.5 in the near future? Thanks for your hard work!

Please see my forum post here ( https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=228690 ). I am using your theme but having issues with spacing. I haven't edited any CSS or anything.

Thanks heaps for the reply Daniel, good luck with the exams I know how much work it all is. I think personally I'll stick with your theme over the grid format as while I love them both, the theme really fits with our school's appearance. Thanks again for this great theme.

    Hi Seth.

I really appreciated your comment. It is nice that people help me to improve my theme. But, as I told you by email. it is better if you use the bug tracker to report errors (https://github.com/dmuneras/moodle-theme_archaius/issues ), because for me is better to "track it" and solve it and keep control about all.

Anyway I checked your site and you have to make a review of your moodle core installation and some of the moodle polices to add rich content to your site, I got some errors unrelated with my plugin, you should fix it and then I can help you to solve the problem related with my plugin if it still there.

    Thanks for your report .

    Regards,
    Daniel.

Hello Daniel, i seem to report the issues there, but the problem is not being solved yet. I have tried a number of fixes myself too, but the others are core your problems. The layout is not properly fixed, it comes out of the borders.

I'm a novice at moodle and everything that goes with it, so sorry in advance.

I just installed the theme, and I can't figure out how to activate the header navigation bar at the top of the page, which I can see in the theme's preview screenshots.

I'd like to have about/contact/privacy information pages and have links for those pages appear in the header navigation. Can somebody point me in a general direction, please. Thanks.

I have noticed on my install that the user avatar does not appear next to a forum post. A look at the source code shows that it appears to be trying but it is not visible. Same result in both Firefox and Chrome. Using ver 2.5.1 on a Ubuntu 12.04 install.

    Here are a couple screenshots.

Am I missing something or is there a tweak to your code that I can make?

    Hi Greg.

It was my mistake. could you use the version which I released some minutes ago and tell me if it is ok now?

    Daniel.

When I issue the git pull command - it states it is already up to date. Looking at github shows most recent change 21 days ago

I see that the zip file has been updated - If I put the entire zip in place via ftp, I fear it would break my git setup - is it possible that just a file or two were modified that I can overwrite through ftp?

    Hi Greg.

I've updated the github repository. I think that now is ok.
