I'd like to say that your 3 plugins are rather popular, but the drag and drop with markers has a design problem: most users think they should drop the text bubble rather than the target. And that's so even when given clear instructions! I wonder if you have heard this feedback before?
Is there a way you could improve on the design?

We developed this Moodle question type based on this http://www.open.ac.uk/openmarkexamples/2d-response/place-marker which is now 9 years old. We've never had an issue with the original OpenMark version - maybe because you have to click on the circle to move the marker. For Moodle we allowed the text label to also be clicked on. Maybe that was a mistake. So do we alter this question so that you have to click on the circle? Any views out there?

    Dear developers,

i found a little bug in this question type.
If you export this type of question and have a look at the xml file, you will see that the 'noofdrags' are incorrect.
You don't get the values you entered. The value just increments with every marker. (Marker x has x no of drags)

    Best Regards
    Ralf

I just uploaded a new version that fixes the noofdrags import/export issue.

This is a response to Phil's question. I do think it is confusing that users can click on the text label, though I understand why it would have sounded helpful. As Pascale said, it's so intuitive to target with what you're dragging, even after you've been told that only the circle works. We've disabled this question type because of this confusion. If it was possible to change this, I personally think it would be very helpful.

Is it possible to use this plugin using just a keyboard (no mouse)?

Yes it is possible to tab to a marker and then drive the marker with the arrow keys.

    Great question type but the
tags etc seem to get stripped out. They display fine in preview but disappear when saved. Perhaps I'm missing something.

Hmm. Thanks for checking. There must be something in my set-up stripping out the tags when Save Changes is clicked....

It would be useful if the documentation link was pointed to https://docs.moodle.org/en/Drag_and_drop_marker_question_type

I have discovered an issue with this plugin. I am creating some resources to teach decimals, and have created activities where I want to have 10 markers (1 for each digit) which the students have to drag into correct position of a number grid. The question type doesn't seem to like having a marker "0" - the other numbers are fine, but not the 0 (which is quite important for what I am wanting). Has anyone else experienced this?

I can reproduce this bug. Well done for finding it. I have reported it as MDL-53964.

I have just created a quiz using this question type, and then tested it on an iphone, where it doesn't allow the markers to be dragged. I was under the impression that this had been a problem in the past, but had been fixed - or have I imagined this. Is there a way that this question type can be used so that it works on iphone and similar devices?

    Thanks in advance.
