Verbal feedback allows lecturers (yes, multiple ones simultaneously, if you wish) to systematically assess a verbal presentation.
A vast, configurable criterion catalogue (multiple templates possible) is presented. Weights can be moved and points left away by giving 0% weight.
Additionally, text blocks for feedback are selectively input in feedback fields which later on can be edited.
Feedback by multiple lecturers will be accumulated, the values taking the mean. Lecturers also benefit from private comment fields which the students won't see.
The results are provided for students in an attractive overview and synched to the gradebook.

This is an important contribution, Luca. No wonder you were so interested in the Town Hall yesterday on video assessment. What do you think? Should we combine the plugins? Or keep them separate?

    That's a good thought, Don.

Obviously when using this verbal feedback tool it is as well possible to grade remote presentations done by students not in presence (you'll then leave out the aspects like usage of the room and body language).

You'll see that the grading of this goes well beyond the concept of just rubrics.
The initiators now are thinking first of a further development allowing a similar grading of written papers.
I'll keep your proposal in mind.

    Best,
    Luca

Dear Alaa there was a bug in the categories when newly built.
The latest build has fixed it.
Could you maybe try again if you can reproduce the error, @Alaa Saeed?

Great plugin and I'm sure required by many! The grading experience, categories and criteria are very comprehensive for quality student feedback and the report is fantastic.

A couple of questions/improvements which would be great:
    - group presentation marking
    - Grade (once graded) displayed on the activity page, not just in the report.
    - Wasn't sure how the 'No template' setting worked. I couldn't progress, unless this is provided so the activity can be created prior to making template.

Some issues I had when testing:
    - Student received 100% in Grades but the actual mark was 61.33/100 (61.33%)
    - Student comments did not show on the activity page or within the report after "finalize evaluation"
    - unable to change template once made available. This is a small issue but would be great if the teacher could change/update until a student is marked.

    Also in regards to improvements:
    - in "Edit verbal feedback items", allow categories to be points or a percentage. Allows greater variation without adding extra values to the percentage dropdown.
