TI - PLAYER MODULE

'TI-Player' Module allows us to create a new TI-Player resource, for a specific course, and it will be able to recognize automatically 'tns' files and show them through 'TI - Nspire Document Viewer Player'.

'TI - Nspire Document Viewer Player' is an external application so It must be installed on localhost or on the server. When you install the 'TI - Player' module you must insert the address of 'TI - Player' on the settings.

Remember that when you install the 'TI - Player' Module you must insert the address of 'TI - Player' on the settings. If the address changes you will only have to update the settings.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

'TI - Nspire Document Player' is an external application and it doesn't always work. It depends on the specifications of your system. The next table shows when the 'TI - Nspire Document Viewer Player' works or not.

⁃ 32 - Bits (Java 6) --> It works with the next browsers: IE, Firefox, Safari and Chrome.
⁃ 64 - Bits (Java > 6) --> It doesn't work.

• WINDOWS

INSTALL 'TI - Nspire Document Viewer Player ' ON SERVER

If you don't already have a web server, Apache Tomcat or WampServer are popular options.

• TOMCAT.

⁃ You need to copy 'nspire-player'.war file to /webapps/.
⁃ 'TI - Nspire Docmuent Viewer Player' must be installed on .
⁃ The address of the viewer player must be http:///nspire-player/application/index.html. You will insert this address on the 'TI - Player' settings.

• WAMP.
----
⁃ You need to copy 'nspire-player.war' file to /www/.
⁃ 'TI - Nspire Document Viewer Player' must be installed on .
⁃ The address of the viewer player must be http:///nspire-player/application/index.html. You will insert this address on the 'TI - Player' settings.
