The QuizPort module for Moodle 1.0 - 1.9

The QuizPort module allows teachers to administer the following externally authored exercises via Moodle 1.x
- Hot Potatoes (version 6)
- iSpring
- Quedoc
- TexToys
- Xerte
This plugin is distributed under the terms of the General Public License

To INSTALL or UPDATE the QuizPort module
===============================================
1. download the zip file from one of the following locations
* Moodle.org plugins repository
* http://bateson.kanazawa-gu.ac.jp/moodle/zip/quizport-module.zip
2. unzip the zip file - creates folder called "quizport"
3. upload the "quizport" folder to "mod/quizport" on your Moodle 1.x site
4. log in to Moodle as administrator to initiate install/upgrade
if install/upgrade does not begin automatically, you can initiate it manually by navigating to the following link:
Settings -> Site administration -> Notifications

To add a QuizPort activity to your Moodle course
===============================================
1. Login to Moodle, and navigate to a course page
2. Enable "Edit mode" on course page
3. Locate course topic/week where you wish to add the Hot Potatoes exercise
4. select "QuizPort" from "Add an activity" menu
5. Next to "Source file" click "Choose or upload a file" button
6. Click the "Upload a file" a file button, then "Browse" to a Hot Potatoes file on your PC
7. Click "Upload this file", the click the "Choose" link next to the file you just uploaded
8. review other settings on the "Adding a new QuizPort" page
9. click "Save changes" at bottom of page

Default installation instructions for plugins of the type Activities
- Make sure you have all the required versions.
- Download and unpack the module.
- Place the folder (eg "assignment") in the "mod" subdirectory.
- Visit http://yoursite.com/admin to finish the installation
