CHANGE :   We have spent time enough to use Moodle Plugin Maintenance API to support automated plugin update chain from our internal development workflow.

The flashcard module is a memorization helper that helps student to learn and keep information engraved optimizing the learning cycle. It suits well for knowledge that comes as "pairs" or "matching definitions". the flashcard proposes cardset to review matching texts, image or sounds.

A Leitner algorithm is available to schedule reviews in the most effificient way, and focus students on their hardest set to memorize.

Hi all, sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but I don't find where to download the module for Moodle 3.2. I looked here https://github.com/tmuras/Moodle-Flashcard but could not find a zip... Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks!

I am on Moodle 3.14. I upgraded to the new 3.1 version and it broke my Moodle site! No copy, no deletes. When I reverted back to the old version (had to leave the version file to trick Moodle) it started working again!

No the official repository is at http://gthub.com/vfremaux/moodle-mod_flashcard

Any information about "broke Moodle" ? this is a bit short to help us focus on the desease. Error messages ? What kind of "break" ? White page ? other visible effects ? Thanks to be as verbose as possible as i may not be able to reproduce the exact situation.

Hi Sorry but had to uninstall this plug in with Moodle 3.2 site as it prevents backups (a PHP error). Once removed Backups work fine. Please fix as we like this plug in.

I, also, am on Moodle 3.1 and the flashcard 3.0 version caused issues. The issues were that we could no longer duplicate files nor could we delete files when editing course pages. We received an "An error occurred." message. To help, here are the error log entries when trying to duplicate or delete a file:

2017/03/02 10:37:44 [error] 1517#1517: *13918582 FastCGI sent in stderr: "PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Class backup_flashcard_activity_task contains 1 abstract method and must therefore be declared abstract or implement the remaining methods (backup_activity_task::define_my_settings) in /moodlefiles/www/moodle/mod/flashcard/backup/moodle2/backup_flashcard_activity_task.class.php on line 0" while reading response header from upstream, client: 172.18.50.60, server: moodle.myschool.org, request: "POST /course/rest.php HTTP/1.1", upstream: "fastcgi://unix:/var/run/php5-fpm.sock:", host: "moodle.myschool.org", referrer: "http://moodle.myschool.org/course/view.php?id=167&section=28&notifyeditingon=1"

Thanks for reporting this. Seems that some moodl.org pacages did not get the backup regression fix. I publish and check asap.

If you ae in hurry, chec the code in https://github.com/vfremaux/moodle-mod_flahcard. I'm now labelling all the new commits to the branches and the MOODLE_XX_STABLE branches hold the code last state reference.

When I try to start the function import in a course with Flashcard I get under 3.2 the message:
Fatal error: Class backup_flashcard_activity_task contains 1 abstract method and must therefore be declared abstract or implement the remaining methods (backup_activity_task::define_my_settings) in
    ..\moodle\mod\flashcard\backup\moodle2\backup_flashcard_activity_task.class.php on line 4390973

Hi Valery, I cannot get the info you have requested. I am using a provider who does not provide with these information.
