- All the legacy plugin types have been removed (Quicktime, Real Player, VLC, Windows Media etc)
- Support for Flash based videos has been stripped back to the minimum needed.
- HTML 5 video playback now uses Video.js and will support HLS and DASH served directly from the repository file manager.
- There is now a content migration tool that can use FFMPEG to convert old videos into HLS format for streaming.

Default installation instructions for plugins of the type Activities
- Make sure you have all the required versions.
- Download and unpack the module.
- Place the folder (eg "assignment") in the "mod" subdirectory.
- Visit http://yoursite.com/admin to finish the installation
