Resend Password Profile Plugin

This plugin allows users to resend their passwords through an additional menu in the "My Profile" section of Moodle. It is a simple and efficient solution to help users recover access to their accounts.

Customization

The automatic email sent when resending a password uses the following language string:

  • existingusernewpasswordtext

You can customize this string through Site administration > Language > Language customisation.
This allows administrators to change the content of the email according to their institution’s needs (e.g., adding contact information, support links, or specific instructions).

Default installation instructions for plugins of the type Local plugins

  1. Make sure you have all the required versions.
  2. Download and unpack the module.
  3. Place the folder in the "local" subdirectory.
  4. Visit http://yoursite.com/admin to finish the installation.
