Thanks Itamar, you may want to add a tracker url as well although I did think this might make sense within core.

Is it possible that with the help of this plugin, we can send new self-registration notifications to teacher or manager instead of admin..?

It probably already works on 2.6. I'll try to release an update with more options in the next couple of days, so stay tuned.

I'm working on Moodle 2.6.3+.
The installation was fine and I also activated the following page: http://moodleURL.com/message/defaultoutputs.php

But I'm not receiving an email after a self registration to a course of my users.

It's standard installation for a local plugin. Unzip the plugin under your-moodle/local/. The folder messageprovider should be added there. Then go to site administration -> notifications to complete the installation.
