Does this plugin have anything to do with this role capability?

Thanks for this great little plug-in, Itamar! Works well overall it but it seems to ignore the Force Group Mode. In other words, a teacher in Group A can log in as students in Group B even thought the course is set to keep these groups/users separate. Any ideas on how work around this?

Hi Itamar. Nice plugin. I have two questions:
    1. Could it be possible to add to the «Course users» feature an option to search by role (ex.: within the students only)?
    2. Did it could be possible also to add a filter that let search within the users from a specific group or cohort within a course?

If so, that features is it hard to develop?

Thanks. Both possible and shouldn't be too difficult. As usual, it's mainly a matter of time and funding. smile

See a comment from Febr 4th with question if this wooks in Moodle 3.2 - Tried the plugin, installation went fine, but there is no settings menu nor a "login as" menu item. At least, I cannot find any "login as" menu item anywhere. Did anyone try this with Moodle 3.2?

Aha, fixed. Yes it is working with Moodle 3.2 - I am using the Academi theme and there was no settings menu nor a "login as" menu item. Changed to "Clean" theme and the settings menu and the "login as" menu shows up. Switched back to Academi. Tried a lot of settings but finally found the solution by adding an extra "administration" block and in this block the "login as" menu is showing up! It works! This will help me a lot as I am using the database activity a lot in my courses and want to log in as being a certain student in order to add a database item for this student after which this student can edit the database entry. Thanks.

Does it work on Moodle 3.3?

@Nellie - Yes, I have it working on 3.3.1. The link appears in my Administration block as expected and the plugin works as advertised. However, there is a noticeable visual/cosmetic glitch present when using the Essential theme, but it doesn't really impede the use of the tool.

This has been one of my favorite plug-ins for years. However, I've just upgraded to Moodle 3.7, and I can't find the link to it in Boost. It only appears in the Classic theme. Since Boost is the only modern theme that is packaged with Moodle, and since so many themes use it as a base, will this plug-in be made compatible with Boost?

Has the plugin been upgraded to 3.10?
