The Learning Analytics Enriched Rubric (LA e-Rubric) is an advanced grading method used for criteria-based assessment. As a rubric, it consists of a set of criteria. For each criterion, several descriptive levels are provided. A numerical grade is assigned to each of these levels.

An enriched rubric contains some criteria and related grading levels that are associated to data from the analysis of learners’ interaction and learning behavior in a Moodle course, such as number of post messages, times of accessing learning material, assignments grades and so on.

Using learning analytics from log data that concern collaborative interactions, past grading performance and inquiries of course resources, the LA e-Rubric can automatically calculate the score of the various levels per criterion. The total rubric score is calculated as a sum of the scores per each criterion.

Thank you for the remark, the plugin will be updated soon, and will be further tested on the new Moodle version.

Until the new plugin version is released, you could manually remove the plugin by following these steps:

    1. Delete the plugin directory 'erubric' from moodle/grade/grading/form/ from your server files,

    2. Delete the database tables starting with '_gradingform_erubric_*'

    3. Delete from your database table '_config_plugins' any record where plugin = 'gradingform_erubric'

Then you will erase the plugin from your moodle site without problems.

Please let me know if there is something else I can do to help.

Thank you again for your remarks,

    Hello Julie, smile

If everything goes as planed, there maybe a new version in the next few months. There is an amount of significant updates regarding this plugin, that must be designed, implemented and tested properly so we will need more time. The logging system in Moodle has changed since 2.6+, so there are many aspects to consider.

    Greetings smile

Dear John: You right! In this version the plugin works fine, however I'm trying to use it in verison 3.1 moodle, but does not work. Not even the assessment rubric appears. Do you plan to upgrade to version 3.1? It would be very helpful for me.

Thanks John. I will apply your suggestion. Although it will be great to have the updated version of your great plugin. Unfortunately my institution always updates the LMS to its latest version.

Thanks for your comments and I will be pending.

The new version could be available this spring (2017). If you want to work on something solid, try the latest version that already works. wink
