What is the Marking Guide Report from Brickfield Education Labs?
The Marking guide report plugin allows teachers and managers to drill down past a student's overall advanced graded mark received, and to view all their students' grades and comments for all the criteria from the relevant marking guide advanced grading.
When an assignment or forum is graded using marking guide advanced grading, there is lots of useful information recorded per student, for all of the criteria used for grading. This information is useful for knowing what areas the student, or students have done well in, for instance, or where their performances may need improvement. Criterion grades can also include comments, which can also be very helpful for tracking and supporting learning progression.
Instead of only seeing this granular advanced grading information inside each student's grading page for the activity, you can now see and download this information for all your students in one go.
This marking guide grade report is also simply located with the other standard course grade reports.
Usage
On your course, go to the Grades section. You will then view the "Marking guide report" tab within the series of course grade report tab options.
On the Marking guide report, teachers can: * Select the activity within the course to report on. * Configure which optional data to display, including: * Display remarks. (Default on) * Display summary. (Default on) * Display email. (Default off) * Display ID number. (Default off) * View a pivot table with: * All of the course students. * All of the activity grade criteria. * All of the students' grades and comments per criterion. * All of the students' overall grades and feedback. * Download these results in CSV or Excel format.
