Moodle Export grading results to a Group Plugin


Overview


The Export gradebook to group Plugin is a tool to create groups out of the results of the gradebook. The group can later be used to control other activities or apply selective actions.


Installation


  1. Download the plugin ZIP file from the [Moodle plugins Directory](https://moodle.org/plugins/) or GitHub repository.
  2. Upload the ZIP file to the Moodle plugins directory.
  3. Install the plugin via the Moodle administrator interface.
  4. Configure the plugin settings to align with your institution's privacy and transparency requirements.

Usage


1. Go to the gradebook.
2. Select the export tool: Group.
3. Select the grade item to be used in the export.
4. Select the passing criteria: passed, failed, no grade, failed or no grade.
5. Save the changes.
6. A group will be created and populated with the users that meet the criteria.


Compatibility


This plugin is tested with Moodle version 4.1 and above but it should work in much older versions.
