    Nicolas, could you also check why you see the tab even when the section should be hidden? It would be great if the tab is hidden too.

    Is this still maintained? I get an update message in Moodle but I see no comments nor changelog...

    Hi Richard,
    Sorry for the delay, but we didn't have much time for our plugins last months but I will do a check soon with Moodle 2.6 and I will add the users requests.
    If you have other enhancements don't hesitate to add them on GitHub, it is easy to track!
    Thanks,
    Nicolas

    Excellent Plug-in, really cleans up lengthy courses.

    Just tested on Moodle 2.6, works well there too

    Daniel,

    This version does work on Moodle 2.6, as I'm testing it out now.

    Hi, I have already install the tabtopic plugin, and it works great with Anomalía Theme that I was using. Now I changed me moodle theme to the Archaius Theme, and I have problems to visualize the Zero Section (if I don't select the zero Section as a tab, I can't see it in the top of the course page).

    Can I solve that issue? Or the tabtopics format don't work with the Archaius Theme??

    Kind Regards.

    Hi Nicolas,

    Can you comment on the visibility of the tabs? I'm still finding out that sections (tabs) that should be invidible for students are visible. Not the content, but the tabs.

    I think this can be fixed?

    Hi Nicolas,

    We are using Moodle2.3 and experiencing a problem whet using the Tabtopics. When i go into a new page using IE10 the page is blank, however with Chrome and others the TabTobigs format is displaying correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks

    I have done some further research have found the following;

    If I create a label with some text and then add a hyperlink to the course using the TabTopics format, when you go to that page it is blank.
    If I create a url link and treat it as an external url, the page displays correctly.

    That seems to resolve the issue for IE, its not ideal as you have to remember to treat the page as an external url, but it does work around the issue.

    versions:

    moodle 25 - TabTopics 2013092600

    moodle 26 - TabTopics 2013092600

    I love the course format Topic Tabs with one exception: when you give tab zero a name, this name is annoying visible above the tabs. By this little change that is solved:

    //Insert the section 0
    $section = 0;
    $thissection = $sections[$section];

    if ($thissection->summary or $thissection->sequence or $PAGE->user_is_editing())
    {
    echo '
    • ';

      echo '
      ';

      // do not echo above the tabs
      if (!empty($thissection->name))
      {
      !! =====> // echo $OUTPUT->heading(format_string($thissection->name, true, array('context' => $context)), 3, 'sectionname');
      }

      echo '
      ';

      Would be better if this choice became an extra checkbox in the settings page of the format...
