The content translation plugin set is a set of plugins that enable in-line translation of content in a Moodle site or course. The plugin set allows users with appropriate permissions to provide translations for content which is not translated by language packs.
Permissions to use the plugin are set by a site administrator. Once permissions have been given to a user, they will have the ability to use the plugin set and translate content throughout all areas of the site that they have access to.
If you like our work we maintain various non-public plugins available on a commercial basis, you can see the details here:

for example, I translated a course name to be displayed as "برمجة" in Arabic while the original is "Programming".
When I search using "Programming", I find the course, but when I search using "برمجة" I don't find the course
I appreciate your support.
1- Course summary , the plugin is not translating the course summery
2- Google Translate, seems not working!
3- I could not Add the atto plugin to the atto editor to the end of the toolbar config: , ***translation*** it showing error
(The line 'translation' is not in the correct format.)
4- Can we use API translation rather than google ?
Please note: I Installed all the plugins from the plugin set related

Only when a user is added to 'Site Administators' does the plugin work properly.
Also, the plugin does not work with the Lambda theme plugin (even for Administrators). The icon appears but clicking on it doesn't do anything. So you need to change back to the standard theme when doing translations (and give your translators Site Administrator role).
It would be good if you could investigate these issues and update the plugin.
Thanks.
I tried to translate questions from a question bank, but the icon for translations is only available for the question category, not for the question text itself.
How can I use the translation function for questions?
And if I use moodle-xml to import questions, will it work to set the same quetions-id for de and en? How exactly is the syntax?
Best
Sandra
I just saw, that there is the possibility for translation, if the questions re used in a test - you can start the translation doing the test. But as I have a question bank of 300 questions and wand a test at random - is there a possibility to translate the questions in the question bank?
I have an issue: we use the forum feature in our Moodle course and the translations of the submissions work great. The issue is that it also translates the name of the participants, so some names are shown wrong. I would propose a change to "disable" the translation of participant-names.
Feel free to reach out on my email to discuss the issue, I can show you around: arnold@colt-cambodia.org.
Regards and thanks again!
