The RÉCIT team has developed a filter to integrate several types of parameters into the course, like an activity icon, activity completion, link to H5P, link to a section, and so on. It also allows you to take advantage of Moodle's database and create a more personalized experience.

Here is a list of types of parameters:

  • Link to an activity (with an icon and checkbox for completion)
  • Change the description of a link
  • Insert CSS classes on the link (for example, to create a button)
  • Open the link to an activity in another tab
  • Link to a section
  • Course data (fullname, shortname)
  • Student data (first name, last name, email, and avatar)
  • Teacher information (first name, last name, email, and avatar)
  • Link to H5P

Please note: After installing this plugin, it is necessary to change the filter priority and place this plugin before the default Activity linking filter or disabling it.

    Hello authors!

Your autolink plugin is perfect, congratulations!

    I have 2 questions:

    1) Can I use the autolink inside an h5p text box to open a modal?

    2) Can I pass a parameter to not load the borders of the system, like &autolinkpopup=1, but keep the borders blank even when browsing the internal links?

    Thanks !

    Hello @Amilton Martins,

Unfortunately, h5p does not run Moodle filters, so it is not possible.
Upon browsing internal links, our parameter autolinkpopup is removed. A solution could be written in Javascript to scan links and add the parameter but we think it would be too invasive for the user.

    Hello dear Emile.
    Thanks for the answer !
To run filters with moodle and H5P, do I need to talk to the H5P or moodle people?
Is there a way to manually include the autolinkpopup parameter in some specific questionnaires?
