Your service account will need to have a license to use OneDrive and have some access to storage space on OneDrive (the plugin needs to be able to temporarily upload files into it to do the conversion)

All the other permissions should be taken care of when you connect your service account (if the plugin was not installed when you linked the service account you could try reconnecting it)

cheers for that Neill, sorted now, the service/admin account had a onedrive license but needed storage space license activating i think (don't have visibility on the azure side.)

working perfectly so thanks for the work on the plugin.

    Hi Neill and colleagues!
Is there anything you can say about being able (or unable) to convert online text submissions in Assignment to annotate with the OneDrive File Converter?

I wonder if support of 'ppsxm' is a bug?
I think it may be a typo on the MSDN page:
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/onedrive/developer/rest-api/api/driveitem_get_content_format?view=odsp-graph-online

    and refer to ppsm

As far as I'm aware the plugin is working fine.

If you go to the plugin settings page in site admin and use the *Test this converter is working properly* link you will probably get some more information about why it is not working for you.

Hi Neill, I just installed Moodle, so my version is 4.3 and this plugin does not work yet. Is there a planning to make it work...?

Hi Neil, i've also noticed a problem today, same issue as above, with message "Conversion test failed: The Microsoft Graph conversion API did not send a URL to the converted document" when i run the test function, but i'm now also seeing heaps of this message in the mdl_file_conversion table with -1 fail indicator. Any ideas? cheers

Hi, re the error mentioned above, the pull request fixes it - https://bitbucket.org/uonmoodle/moodle-fileconverter_onedrive/pull-requests/12/api-response-headers-should-be-searched - tested in our environment and it fixes the issue. cheers

A change from Tony Butler that fixed the issue for him has been merged into the version of the plugin in the repository.

nice one, thanks. I don't suppose you know how to force a reprocess of the failed conversions in 4.x with the adhoc tasks?

Hi Neill, I've just updated this plugin as I've been having the "Conversion test failed: The Microsoft Graph conversion API did not send a URL to the converted document" error message (and teachers telling us the documents are not converting properly). I understood from your February 22nd comment that Tony Butler's fix was merged with the latest version (2022050600). I downloaded that version and changed version.php locally to be able to overwrite our Moodle's plugin that had the same version number (and thus avoid deinstalling and reinstalling the plugin). I'm still getting the same error message when testing the converter.

Would it be possible to confirm this repository's version contains the fix from Tony Butler and if so, change the lastest version's number so it's possible to update the plugin via Moodle's interface (Check for available updates)? Thank you! Cheers
