Thanks Sekhar with sharing this block with the community. While testing the functionality and reviewing the code, I detected some issues that should be clarified and fixed prior approving the plugin in this directory. I am going to mark this as needing more work for now. Thanks for your patience with the review and approval process.

Hi Sekhar, thanks for submitting this plugin.
I am still new to plugin reviewing, so I'll leave the code review for David, but will comment on Usability and Meta-data.
I install using the low-tech .zip file method.
My environment: Apache, MySQL, Moodle 2.8.5+, Firefox 39, Mac OSX
    Usability
Installation: plugin installed from the .zip without error.
    Dependencies: None
Functionality: Did not give any PHP errors.
Block displays correctly, and links work as expected.
Cross-DB compatibility: I only tested on MySQL
    Meta-data
Plugin description: The description “SocialShare" seems appropriate (although I wonder if SocialShare buttons might be more descriptive?
Code repository name: Name follows standard Moodle plugintype_pluginname format.
    Source control URL: OK
    Bug tracker URL: OK
    Documentation URL: OK
    Illustrative screenshots: Simple and clear
Licensing: I don't see any issues regarding licensing here.
    Subscription needed?: Not applicable
I think this is a plugin that will be very useful on the more open and public type Moodle sites, and it makes it very quick and easy to share a page smile Maybe it can be expanded in the future with other (optional?) sharing sites such as StumbleUpon ?

Thanks Sekhar for an updated version and thanks Stuart for the usability review. I am happy to go and approve the plugin now. There is one more thing I forgot to mention yesterday. I think the Description field here should be elaborated to describe the block functionality in more details - such as what URL sharing scopes are available etc.

With the hope this will be fixed soon, you are cleared to land. Welcome to the Plugins directory!

It's very useful if it displays at the top or at the bottom of each forum post or course name. Like moodleworld.com. Not in a block!

    Hi,
I installed latest versione of the plugin on Moodle 2.9.2. It's all working fine except for Facebook sharing button: it show a popup window for sharing BUT it shows "Error" as text embedded from page (the Twitter one instead correctlt reports the name of the course and the link).

    Any idea?
    Thanks!

    Hi there,
sharing course content is not properly displaying the data in social media... just displaying the site name, but url leads to the respective content.
    how to overcome this ?
