A simple block which lets you search for users in your Moodle system, with quick links to view their profile, login as them and send them a message.

A block you can use to search for users within your Moodle system.

It uses jQuery and AJAX to perform the search from your course page (or front page) without having to load any other pages.

It will return exact results and any similar results it can find, with quick links to view the profile, loginas (if you have the capability) and send them a message.

I've fixed the issues raised a couple of years ago and updated the plugin to support the latest Moodle versions.

Just tested it on Moodle 4 and seems to still work fine, so will update the supported versions.

Thank you very much for developing and making this excellent plugin available! Something that would be very useful is to add the possibility to search for users also by email address (in addition to the name).

Love this plug-in - any thoughts on when you will have a 4.1 version available? We are going live with the 4.1 upgrade Aug 1 - any way to get an updated label before then?
