Hi Miguel, - sorry to hear that. When you say it doesn't match, do you mean that users aren't showing, or they're showing inthe wrong place, or something else...

BTW.. posted as issue on github here; https://github.com/alexlittle/moodle-block_online_users_map/issues/10 - so maybe best to reply there.

No new data are updated in the users table mdl_block_online_user_map

I solved my mishap, the problem was geonames account, the webservice service was not enabled, so the table mdl_block_online_user_map never updated.

I'm working on two different parts with Moodle.
1) Xampp to test locally with Moodle 2.6.8 and in block shows me the map but not the points where users are located .
2) I am working with Moodle 1.9.4 on a free hosting for testing and in this case only shows me the box and nothing else, or draw me a map and points ... The site URL is http : // pruebamoodle194 .besaba.com / .

The truth is not bad if I'm entering the key or the Google API key is bad or not , and not as Geonames enable web service nor how to use it . I would appreciate help me.

@Diego - It ought to work on Moodle 2.6.8 - Moodle 1.9.x is now very old and unsupported by Moodle - so I would advise not using this version. The best starting point on your local 2.6.8 Moodle is to turn on the debugging option in the block setttings and then run you Moodle cron task - this should then show the connections to the Geonames service and will let you know (a) if it's connecting correctly and then (b) if the locations are being returned. @will_taylor - the plugin should still be working for Moodle 2.9 - I have it running on Moodle 2.9.3 here: http://moodle.digital-campus.org.
