Hi, i'm using NED mentor 3.3.0 (2017072502) wit moodle 3.5.1+. when i'm trying to import users it doesn't seem to override old values. like for instance if i have user1 as a mentee for mentor1 . and now i'm updating to have user1 to be a mentee under mentor 2. i end up having 2 mentors for the same user. is there a way that i can override existing relation/records. i tried using the exported sheet as well . but it doesn't seem to respond to my overrides .

Turn the initial update the site loaded correctly. It wasn't until after the teachers got into the system that this bug appeared. The only way to resolve it was for me to hide the plug in temporarily.

If you'd like to work out some time to debug, please let me know

Is this an error or by design, I have added students to the mentor block and also have set up non activity notifications. Student get the emails all fine so far. But if I remove a student from the mentor section, but keep the enrolled on a course they still get the notification emails. Should this be the case?
My situation is student leave the course, but I need to keep them on as a student on that course for reporting / financial reporting reasons. I remove them from the mentor area, but they still get emails from the notifications. Any help on this?

This plugin is very helpful. I need help regarding addition of actual and required score for each course and the result should be in the "Current grade:" section. Thanks.

Hello, first I want to thanks Fernando for the great plugin! We are using moodle 2.8 and installed the block successful. I managed to manually give mentor and mentee roles to our users. The notifications seems to work fine too. However I have a problem. I don't have that import/export feature and I am not able to import roles with .csv. We have 3000+ users and it is impossible to give them mentor/mentee roles manually. Do you know where the problem might be? Thank you!

Hello, I have installed this plugin and it is very useful. However, I would like to ask:
1. Is it possible to merge scheduler with mentor block?
2. How would you modify so that scheduled appointments are only visible to the assigned mentor/mentee pair and the category manager?
3. Is it possible to only apply mentor block to one category instead of the whole site?

By any chance would this plugin work with Ver 4.0. asking since I see that some sites have installed it for 4.0, but don't see any reference in the forums

I installed it in both version 4.0 & 4.1. Relations have no problem, but notifications & mentor links at the bottom does not show at all in addition that in import/export I get an error that says "https_required() cannot be used anymore", although a website is using https protocol.

My understanding is that this plugin has not been updated for 5 years and we do appreciate the maintainer to update it.

If it is going to be updated, I can suggest some additional features.

Is there an alternative to this app? It is no longer compatible with our version of Moodle, but the plugin has been used widely and I need a replacement option - any ideas? We use it for parents/mentors to view their learner's progress, tutor feedback & contact tutor directly. Please help!

@Francesca, this is a wonderful one and nothing like it, but as it is too old, it is not working on recent versions of Moodle, there are some other plugins but not exactly similar, search for mentor or parent in Moodle plugins directory.
